Landscape of Phinda Game Reserve

There are over 34,600 acres of land to explore at the Phinda Game Reserve. With seven distinct habitats, &Beyond Phinda is a magni cent tapestry of landscapes, from woodland to grassland, wetland and forest, interspersed with mountain ranges, river courses, marshes and pans.

Home to the unique ecosystem of a large portion of the world’s remaining rare sand forest, &Beyond Phinda is situated close to the unspoiled beaches and marine reefs of the Indian Ocean, with a combination of bush and beach adventures possible from the reserve.

Because of these variants in ecosystems many bird, vegetation, and animal species can be found here. Two rivers run through the reserve. And to the south the rocky foothills of the Lebombo Mountains.
